A picture is..

No, I'm not dead.
This is pretty much what I have been doing since moving back up to Elmira at the end of March. Laying around/texting/ taking pictures. This particular picture was taken by Mur while I was texting Adam about what to do with this vase. See picture below.
Anyway, crisis averted. Ideas have been shared and a solution has presented itself. The vase will be filled after my first paycheck is deposited.
This is Brody Lee!! He melts my heart and is filled with smiles. Just so long as he has his truck!! :-)
About two days ago I received a text message followed by a phone call from my little sister about wine glasses. After being told that Marcus and I should move closer to ease our being able to shop together I explained what the best type of wine glass to get as per what wine she was drinking and where to go to get them at a fair cost. She of course went to Target, who wouldn't?! Love that store!! An anyway, these are her glasses. Not bad for someone who knows nothing of wine or what you should drink it out of for that matter. I do have one thing to say though. Good choice Lauryn, but those are the glasses you are suppose to use when you're drinking white. But none the less, nice glasses!!
Of course she sent me a picture of the wine that she was drinking. Resulting from the consumption of this wine I had the following conversation with Lauryn via text message:

Me: Now, why are you drinking wine?
Me: Red wine that is?
Lauryn: Because I want to and its delicious.
Lauryn: Omg are there rules to drinking wine?
Lauryn: I'm too new at this.
Lauryn: Damnit
Me: No, there aren't rules lol

I read that and BURST out laughing. Sorry Lauryn!! And trust me, there are NO rules about drinking wine. I have spent several nights, both in and out of college, drinking wine from the following: solo cups (in assorted colors), measuring cups, from other peoples cups and straight out of the bottle. So, again, no you did not break any rules and as far as I'm concerned Dionysus will continue to treat you well as long as you wish him to.
Porcupines. The silent killers of Subaru Legacy's between 2 and 3 in the morning. They are sneaky little devils who will leave remnants of their run in they had with you stuck on the under side of your car while cracking your bumper and bending your radiator supports.
This is example 1A. Look toward the right side.

Ta Da!! This is our much talked about porch!! Marcus finally got done hanging the lights around the top (look just above the hanging plants) as well as our Penn State flag!! :-) It looks wonderful and I enjoy sitting out on our fabulous patio furniture even more at night by the glow of the awesome string lights. I'll let you guess where I bought them.. The following pictures give a brief up close and personal glimpse to my outside oasis.
Snap dragons. My favorite!! <3
Sun!!
Hanging plants <3
Come, sit, talk and lets share some wine or the all too familiar Mojito while we grill!! :-)
So last night we had the neighbors over for dinner. What would be a better time then right after the lights are hung? Anyway, we had grilled bbq chicken and a lovely salad. Of course what would be grilling and hanging out with some new people without throwing back a couple. Throwing back a couple would later result in a Wii bowling tournament which resulted in throwing back more than a couple. So a full Mojito bottle, and half a rum bottle later I totally lost the Wii bowling, came up with a new word and started yelling with a German accent from my bedroom all while texting/ falling asleep. The new word? Well that would be 'fartification'. I believe that I was trying to say falsification or farce with -ification added to the end. Anyway, from what I remember of last night it was good. Lots of laughing. Moving on..
So of course I wake up with a hangover today. Ouch!! But anyway, I woke up to find road cones behind both Marcus's and my car this morning. Clearly a prank pulled by Vic thinking he's funny. Well haha Vic while I was nursing a hangover I didn't feel bad that you were out mowing the lawn. :-P
P.S- I did my best to save your parking spot for you. Thanks again for the road cones, couldn't have saved your spot without them!!

Love,
K
