Just remember the safe word..

Long time no blog post. For this I apologize. It was never my intention to go this amount of time without posting at least something. Well without further adieu let us get down to business.

First, a lot has happened in...21 days. Oh my, I can't really believe it myself. Second, I will try my best to try and organize the events that have come to pass in a clear and concise manner so as not to embarrass myself to illogical thinking as well as to keep you entertained. Further, and on a separate note, one of the reasons why I have not been able to post in the limited time that I did have available to me is because I, for lack of another phrase, cannot force my writing genius. With this said I in NO WAY consider to be a genius in any way. I simply say this, again, for lack of a better way of getting my point across to you.

June 4 and 5.
Talk about a long day. Starting at 12am on Sunday Marcus and I left on the 3 hour journey to Buffalo. Why? To drop Murry face off at the airport for his business/vacation trip. We arrived around 4 and I hung around with him for about half an hour before making the returning journey home in the early hours of the morning. After arriving home at 7 I took a power nap until 8 at which time I had to shower before meeting up with Steve and Bobby Jo. (Due to possessing such a long name Bobby Jo will, until further notice, be refereed to as BJ). After quickly getting ready I made the fun twisty, curvy drive through bum-fuck Pennsylvania to Steve's house. Upon arrival I was greeted with Steve, BJ, 2 of BJ's kids and the one kids girlfriend. After an extremely..interesting.. drive to Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre in which yelling, arguing and awkward silence ensued we finally arrived. Once there we got our tickets, to our box seats (!!!), I sat down and continued to sit in one of the most uncomfortable situations in my life. Due to other more interesting stories that I want to get to, let me make this short. Bullet points short..
- I was left ALONE for half an hour with BJ's family while Steve, BJ and the kids went to go get food. I was not told they were doing this so I assumed I was just abandoned.
- BJ introduced the family to me at which time she pointed toward specific people indicating that they were retarded. And no, she didn't not mean that in a way that they were quirky and sometimes overly silly. Nope, she meant it as in these people have developmental disabilities.
- As the game went on the more drunk her family got. The more drunk they got, the more loud they got. The more loud they got the more racist they got. The more racist they got the more embarrassed and uncivilized I felt.
^--This is about the same time that my phone battery died and I was left to survive this family on my own.
- When the game finally ended a quick pit stop was made at BK before finally arriving home.
- Once back at Steve's I stayed and talked until about 9 before going home and passing out as result of being up for more than 48 hours.
** I would like to send out a very big THANK YOU to my dear friend Tiffany for being there to text during this interesting day**

<--These are 2 of the 'retarded' cousins that I was told about.

That Monday.
After sleeping for 12+ hours I woke up and decided that I was too lazy to get my sorry ass off the couch. So, for some motivation and to give myself something to do, I started texting some of my favorite friends at home. After about 4 hours of packing and organizing I was on my way. Once home I met up with Tiff and Adam for ice cream at Gables. Good ice cream, good friends and good conversation. Who would need more let alone ask for more.

4 bags and counting...I hope I don't forget anything!! Oh wait, silly me!! There is the kitchen sink I wanted to bring along!!

Tuesday through Thursday.
This time was spent with the family. Mostly helping Mom-Mom in the garden and visiting with Lauryn, Brody and Mom. Good times, lots of pictures and much needed conversation catch up.

After helping 'The Mama' hang up some clothing, Mr. Lee brought me the empty bag. He then took one of my flip-flops put it in the bag and ran off.

Friday.
It's FINALLY time to spend some time with the girls!! Much anticipated and exciting. The weekend started out with meeting Tiff and Crystal at the Velez house and then departing from there. After making a quick pit stop for gas we were on our way!! We made it to our destination in about 2 hours at which time we quickly dressed for the beach and then lounged in the sun until around 5pm when the beach closed. Once off the beach a unanimous decision was made to walk the boardwalk in search of some food. With full bellies and content with the amount of sun we were able to soak up earlier that afternoon we went back to the room where Crystal took a quick nap while Tiff and I ran to the store to get some goodies to snack on.

Later that night.
We all started getting ready to go out when Dee arrived. After exchanging hugs and stories over drinks, cheez-its and Dorito's we finished getting ready and left to go to our favorite Seaside club, Bamboo. After a fish bowl, a run in with a bouncer and an alligator named Paco later we each managed to make it home in different ways.
I understand that wasn't an adequate enough description so let me revert back to my preferred medium to illustrate the nights events.

This pretty much sums up the night in regards to drinks that were had. Or maybe I should stop kidding myself and say, these are the drinks that had us.

Crystal loving herself some Paco!! He came in the fish bowl and was the 'man' for the weekend. Even in her extremely inebriated state she maintained a death grip on him.
Soon after this there was a drink thrown over the railing and a visit from one of the bouncers.

Saturday.
Let's be realistic, Friday blended into Saturday. While we're being realistic, let's be honest. I can't really tell you what all happened in the early hours of Saturday morning. Actually, I may know more than I let on but why would I want to give away all the greatest secrets of girls weekend?? Moving on, Saturday we discovered Tiff lost her clutch, which we later recovered from the bar after the staff was done cleaning up from the previous nights festivities. We also managed to recover her lost pair of shoes as well as go to navigate a local PNC bank so the weekend could continue without interruption. The plan for the remainder of the day was to go lay on the beach but because of the chilly and drizzly weather we ended up having lunch on the boardwalk followed by going back to the room to sleep off our food induced comas.

Saturday Night.
Once again we went through the routine of getting ready while entertaining the idea of alternate ways that we could make money. And when I say we I mean Dee and me. No further explanation is needed. See example below.

Ah yes...good times.

Anyway, while we were out and about we tried out Karma which sucked a lot to say the least so we ended up going back to bamboo for the second night in a row. Once there we saw the same bouncer from the first night, Crystal almost fought a guy that wouldn't leave her alone of the dance floor, Dee got a Bamboo bouncers T-shirt, I picked up a black guy, more pictures were taken and Tiff managed to not lose anything. All in all I would say Saturday was a success!! :-) See for yourself.

There is our bouncer and some jackass making a fucking stupid face behind Crystal and Dee. -->

<-- Okay, I'm not really sure why this uploaded sideways but this is Dee and her bouncer shirt.

Sunday.
We woke up after only getting about 3 hours of sleep each gathering all of our things and packing the car. After the cars were packed we went on the hunt for parking and then some breakfast. Due to the shitty weather on Saturday the initial plan was to wait around until it warmed up and then spend the majority of the rest of the day on the beach. This, of course, did not happen. Once again the weather decided to not work in our favor remaining to be a bitch and cold. This did not put a damper on our day however. Instead, we walked up and down the boardwalk talking about the antics of the weekend and future girls weekends. Around 3:30 we parted ways so as to avoid rush hour traffic. It was a good weekend.

Now, pay me some patience and allow me to fast forward to a few days ago.
Just recently there has been a change in my extended family dynamic. Everyone is still living, which is really the only important fact that need to be and will be shared. However, with this change I have had the opportunity to go home and repay some much needed love and support that was given to me, unconditionally, about 10 years ago. In conjunction with this, this recent event has also allowed me to catch up with certain family members to share stories, secrets, fears and a smoke or two. With that said this is definitely the start of a new chapter for every person in my family.

The job.
So tomorrow is my first day at my new job. I'm really unsure what I think about it but I do promise to make a post about how it goes tomorrow. As of right now the only thing that I'm really excited about tomorrow is that I get to wear my new scrubs. It should be good though. I took the class, I used to be in nursing school, I like old people so it should run smoothly...right??

With that I feel like this specific blog post is long enough...until tomorrow?
